I grew up playing hockey in the Greater Toronto Hockey League and continued until I was 18 years old. After my youth career ended I took 8 years off from playing hockey because I had lost my love of the game. Around 25 years of age an old teammate asked me to play on his men’s league team in the Adult Safe Hockey league (ASHL) in Oakville. Over 20 years later I am still playing 2 to 3 times per week on multiple teams. My love for the game returned and I have never looked back! Having children changed the number of times I was able to play hockey per week, especially when I coached them both in their first few years of hockey. I understand the cost and commitment of rep hockey because between my hockey and my kids both playing rep hockey has me traveling to arenas nearly 10 times per week for games, practices and training. My 2010 son plays in the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) and my 2012 daughter plays goal in the Ontario Woman’s Hockey Association (OWHA).

My working career has been in automotive sales, telecommunications and real estate but I always wanted to do something related to the sport I love, hockey.
